Anxiety isn’t always bad.

It doesn’t really know you. It doesn't know why it wakes you up in the middle of the night gasping in cold sweats searching for more meaning. It doesn’t know why it makes you feel crazy, thinking in passionate daydream fits of doing better.

Sometimes, anxiety is trying to help you —it can be nothing more than the response of your soul asking for more.

Anxiety will wither away into the shadow of your truth. It wants to wake you up for those early morning runs and make you smile wry as you push into your late-night side hustles. It desperately wants you to live the life you aren’t living; to write insatiable love into the breaths of the people that truly see, respect, and admire you.

It wants you to chase your dreams this time, not talk about them.

It isn’t all bad my friend, you’re worthy. You’re worthy of knowing these anxious feelings will pass if you start to move. If you act. If you allow yourself to heal. If you start to listen to the inner work that must be done. If know your losses don’t define you. If you believe your past hasn’t convicted your future.

Life advice shouldn't stay hard, even if it starts that way.
